Terms of Service

Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the software products and paid subscriptions offered by Labyrinth Analytics Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), including LoreConvo, LoreDocs, and any future products in the Lore family (collectively, the "Products").

By installing, using, or subscribing to any Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Products.

The Products

Our Products are software tools distributed as Claude plugins and PyPI packages, designed to run locally on your machine. They are offered in two tiers:

• A free tier with usage limits (currently 50 sessions for LoreConvo and 3 vaults for LoreDocs).
• A Pro tier, billed monthly through Stripe, which removes those limits.

Source Code License

The source code for our Products is published on GitHub under the Business Source License 1.1 (BSL 1.1), with a four-year change date after which the code becomes available under the Apache License 2.0. The full license text is included in each Product's repository.

These Terms govern your Pro tier subscription. The BSL 1.1 license governs your use, modification, and distribution of the source code itself. The two are independent: your rights to the source code are not contingent on a Pro subscription, and your Pro subscription does not grant additional rights to the source code beyond those provided by the BSL 1.1.

Subscription and Billing

Pro tier subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Pricing is shown at the point of purchase. We may change pricing for future billing periods, but any change will only apply after your current period ends, and we will provide notice as described in the "Changes to These Terms" section below.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your payment card details. Stripe's terms and privacy policy apply to payment data.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal. When you cancel, your Pro access continues through the end of the last billing period for which you have paid, and your subscription will not renew after that.

We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time. Canceling does not remove the Products from your machine or affect any data stored locally; it simply ends recurring billing and reverts your account to the free tier at the end of the current period.

Service Availability

Because the Products run locally on your machine, their availability depends primarily on your own system. The subscription-related services we operate (license validation, Stripe billing, support email) are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or response time.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep these services running and to communicate any planned maintenance or known outages.

Acceptable Use

When using the Products and any services we provide, you agree not to:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Pro tier access to third parties.
• Use the Products in a way that violates any applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to circumvent license checks, usage limits, or billing mechanisms.
• Interfere with or disrupt the services we operate, including license validation and payment processing.
• Use the Products to process data in ways prohibited by the BSL 1.1 license terms during the change-date period.

Your Data

The Products store all session content, vault documents, and metadata locally on your machine. You retain full ownership of, and responsibility for, the data you create or store with the Products.

Our handling of the limited account information we do collect (such as your email address for Pro subscribers) is described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The Products, including their source code, documentation, and branding, are owned by Labyrinth Analytics Consulting LLC. Source code use is governed by the BSL 1.1 license referenced above. Names and logos for "Labyrinth Analytics Consulting," "Lore," "LoreConvo," and "LoreDocs" are our trademarks; nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use them outside of accurately identifying the Products.

You retain all rights in the data and content you create using the Products.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Products and any related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. You assume all responsibility for maintaining backups of your data and for verifying that the Products meet your needs before relying on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labyrinth Analytics Consulting LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Products is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the Products in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Labyrinth Analytics Consulting LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Products in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Products at any time and cancel your Pro subscription as described above.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Pro tier and any services we operate if you materially breach these Terms, including by failing to pay amounts due, abusing the services, or violating the Acceptable Use section. We will give reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure where practical. Termination does not entitle you to a refund and does not affect your rights to the source code under the BSL 1.1 license.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and provide at least 30 days' notice to active Pro subscribers, by email or through product release notes, before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Products or maintain a Pro subscription after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Products will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the BSL 1.1 license accompanying each Product, constitute the entire agreement between you and Labyrinth Analytics Consulting LLC regarding the Products. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.
