Privacy Policy

Overview

Labyrinth Analytics Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") builds software tools -- including LoreConvo and LoreDocs -- designed to run locally on your machine. We believe your data belongs to you, and our products are architected to keep it that way.

This policy covers our website (labyrinthanalyticsconsulting.com) and our software products distributed as Claude plugins and PyPI packages.

Our Products: Local-First by Design

LoreConvo and LoreDocs store all data in SQLite databases on your local machine (typically in ~/.loreconvo/ and ~/.loredocs/). No data is transmitted to our servers or any third party during normal use.

Specifically, our products:

  • Do not collect telemetry or usage analytics
  • Do not phone home or make network requests
  • Do not require an account to use the free tier
  • Do not access, read, or transmit your conversation content
  • Store all session data, vault documents, and metadata locally on your device

Pro Tier and Payment Processing

If you upgrade to a Pro tier, payment is processed through Stripe. We collect only the information necessary to process your subscription:

  • Email address (for license delivery and support)
  • Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe -- we never see or store your card number)

Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data: stripe.com/privacy

Website

Our website uses Vercel Analytics for basic, privacy-friendly traffic measurement. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individual users, and does not collect personally identifiable information. You can read more about Vercel's approach at vercel.com/docs/analytics/privacy-policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts beyond Vercel Analytics.

Data You Control

Since your product data lives on your machine, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

  • View your data by opening the SQLite database files directly
  • Export your data using the built-in export tools
  • Delete your data by removing the database files from your machine
  • Uninstall the plugins at any time with no data left behind (beyond the database files you created)

Children's Privacy

Our products and services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will provide notice through our GitHub repositories or product release notes.
